Beat Depression During the Winter

This is a pretty good list of things to do during these cold Winter months when parts of your depression fighting plan includes things like outdoor activities, and other things that you can’t do during the colder months.

I’ve found a few of these to be good tools for myself, fighting off the lethargy that can sometimes take over when I’m not paying atention to myself during the Winter, specifically joining a gym, and forcing myself to get outside, and do things with friends.

Many Survivors of abuse struggle with depression for years. I hope by highlighting some information about the disease and those who suffer from it, you’ll take away some hope.

It is no question that the doctor Hugh Laurie plays on the medical drama House is almost always dark and brooding (despite, of course, the constant humor and biting comebacks).Â Never the type to smile and carry a smiling disposition, House as the character is frankly very complex and one can tell he has a very dark past.

For some, therefore, it came as no surprise that the actor behind House is in fact in a long-drawn battle with depression.Â The star of House recently opened up about this and mentioned that that being depressed is â€œselfish.â€
