I'm happy that you are finding ways to heal.

It's very difficult to find other survivors who are willing to talk about their abuses.

I am a survivor and it is much more difficult for me since I am a guy, and it's that much more embarrassing and tougher to talk about it.

Take care of yourself.

Glad I found you!

Sincerely,

David

Your last few posts really show a healthy balance. I like that about your writing, Mike! Would you submit one of them, or an older post, to THE BLOG CARNIVAL AGAINST CHILD ABUSE this month? I'm doing this edition myself, in honor of World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse on Thursday. And as always, I so appreciate your support and promoting the various carnival editions. Thanks!

I'm like You Mike I love to travel , to see the new , explore . I tend to love change , of course the kind that feels good is best but even change that is not great helps me learn and see people for who they are and mostly see myself and learn . I am a touchy feely person and love the visual .
My dh is a homebody he loves the security of the sameness . He didn't mind travel but some of the things he liked were those that reminded him of home lol .
You are so right we all heal in our own way and our own time . I tend to come alive and grow when I travel and experience the new .
In regards to healing or opinion putting stereotypes , & labeling etc. I always tell people not to put me in a box because I probably won't fit and I just get stuck .
