That being said, I thought the subject really applied to us when it comes to mental health, because we know that loneliness is a key factor when it comes to depression, suicide, and various other issues.<\/p>\n<p>I mean, can we really ignore a book that he describes like this?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Before the coronavirus, we were facing an epidemic of loneliness and isolation. And we all know what happened after that. During this time, former U.S. Surgeon General Vivek H. Murthy released\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3aBRfYV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Together: The Healing Power of Human Connection in a Sometimes Lonely World<\/em><\/a>. The timing could not have been more fortuitous. You or someone you know is living with loneliness now \u2013 which is the perfect reason to read it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He&#8217;s absolutely right about the epidemic, and we already know what that lack of connection is doing to people, despite all of the ways we still have to connect with each other. Maybe reading this book will be the thing that can spark you and the people you know to find solutions, and work together to solve this problem in your lives.<\/p>\n<p>Have you read this book?
