The only way people will know they are not alone, is if they hear from those of us who can tell our stories, and the more stories there are, the harder it will become for mental health issues to be ignored by those who refuse to see that people all around them are dealing with this.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Those of us with stories, can share them. Those of us with voices can raise them. And those of us with people around us can reach out to them.<\/p>\n<p>The stigma is real. The isolation is real. That\u2019s the bad news. The good news, however, is that the solution is within our grasp.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing will get better and no one will feel less alone until we open our voices and tell them that they are not alone.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20170301052418\/https:\/\/blogs.psychcentral.com\/anxiety-depression\/2017\/02\/share-your-story\/\">https:\/\/blogs.psychcentral.com\/anxiety-depression\/2017\/02\/share-your-story\/<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"syndication-links\"><\/div><span class=\"kt-load-after-post\"><\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is true.
