I would have never developed the courage and self-awareness to enter therapy. Therapy gave me the tools and techniques to live a more confident and emotionally balanced life.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Don&#8217;t think you only need therapy if you&#8217;re &#8220;really&#8221; bad off. If there is any tool that you are lacking in terms of emotional and\/or mental strength, therapy is the place to go learn those. Yes, learning the tools may require some work to find out why you haven&#8217;t developed them, or a deeper dig into why you haven&#8217;t been able to grow, but in the end it&#8217;s really about developing as a person.<\/p>\n<p>When you need to learn a new professional skill you get some form of training. If you want to learn how to cook, or play guitar, you can sign up for classes, or lessons. If you&#8217;re searching for a new job, you hire someone to help develop your resume, or coach you on interviewing skills. There&#8217;s no stigma attached to any of those things. If anything, we respect people willing to learn new things and take on new challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Going to therapy should be seen the same way. You are going to develop yourself and be better off for the work you put in.
