That\u2019s a major problem.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I&#8217;ve noted before that there is research that shows kids without this knowledge are more likely to engage in drinking, drugs and other destructive behavior, and are more likely to be targeted by predators. All of these risks could be cut down by simply having a stable, open, and supportive relationship with parents.<\/p>\n<p>If we want&#8217; to figure out what has changed over the years and why there is such an increase in mental health issues and abuse, this would be a good place to start.<\/p>\n<p><a
