While employers may not be legally allowed to discriminate, the possibility of negative repercussions is still very real.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Only you can decide whether being open and sharing your mental health issue at work is appropriate for you, and it&#8217;ll depend a whole lot on the environment and you&#8217;re willingness and ability to deal with the potential blow back. Don&#8217;t let anyone force you into either decision. You are the only one who can know it, but it also doesn&#8217;t hurt to get feedback and read about other&#8217;s experiences while you consider it.<\/p>\n<p><a
