I think Eric’s story is compelling, and I suspect it’s way more common that we know. I’ve seen a few of the Facebook groups he talks about, and they are huge. It’s hard to feel alone when there’s a group with 10’s of thousands of members also talking about mental health issues.<\/p>\n

I don’t necessarily think online communities can replace therapy and other forms of treatment, but I know for a fact they can augment it, and have a huge impact.<\/p>\n
