The illustrations are well done, and the message is clearly conveyed without using any unnecessary words. I liked the choice of Bat as the main character; it\u2019s cute and helps to avoid readers bringing preconceived ideas about what a person with bipolar is like.<\/p>\n<p>I think this book would be a useful way to convey to friends and family what bipolar really is (or depression, for that matter). At 41 pages, it\u2019s a quick read with a really good message.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I find that worthy of sharing because, let&#8217;s face it, most of us have no idea what living with Bipolar is like, so if there&#8217;s a resource like a 41-page picture book than can get us started toward understanding even just a little bit, maybe more people should know about that. I&#8217;m not going to say it&#8217;ll be a full education on the topic, especially since I haven&#8217;t read it myself, but a simple tool to help point people in the direction of understanding and maybe looking to learn more?
