    Abuse. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. It’s sad, but it’s true, there are always going to be little “triggering” events that bring back all the fear and all the helpless feelings. The real key is recognizing them for what they are and reacting appropriately. That takes a long time to learn, I’m sure.
