As I wrote yesterday on my tech blog, I’m seriously feeling the need to work on some techie projects. I think I just need the outlet and the challenge to balance the non-challenges I have with work right now. Also, like I did on that site, I wanted to give you all the opportunity to have some input:
“I’ve got a number of things in mind for this site and the Child Abuse site, but no firm decisions on what I really want to accomplish. I’ll keep you informed as we go along, but in the mean time, what do you want to see here, or there? More interactivity? More community? Do you want less of my thoughts and more links? Do you think the abuse site needs some community around it? Do you want to forget you ever saw this site? 🙂 I’m willing to listen to most ideas. I’m not promising I’ll actually follow through on any of it, but I’ll listen. ”
So what do you say?
Hi. I think that you should do whatever you would like with the site. One thing I appreciate about your site and might like to see expanded is a greater sense of community of survivors.
Just my 2 cents
Leah, that’s exactly what I was thinking, trying to create more of a community, I’m just not sure exactly how to get that “community” feel? I’m working on some things though!
I have been lurking around, reading your blog for several months. You are doing a fine job. Don’t stop writing your personal thoughts, that is my favorite part. Hang in there…..Penny
Thanks for the comment Penny, and don’t worry, this part of the site isn’t going anywhere, the blog will always be part of it, I’m just trying to think through how to make the site feel more like it’s your site, and how you can contribute.
As a follow-up to my coment about community – – some time ago Moriji began a Survivor Blog ring (http://www.ringsurf.com/netring?ring=survivorblogswebring;action=list). I wonder if it could be helpful in the extension of our online community? (It still has the same initial members.)
