Link – 5 Beliefs People with Adverse Upbringing Have about Themselves

I’ll freely admit these were beliefs I had about myself growing up and into early adulthood. Some of them are still things I struggle with all these years later. Oddly enough, I struggle with two that seem to be contradictory, but are dependent upon what facet of my life you’re talking about.

At work, and in areas of my life that I generally feel good about my skills, it’s easy to fall back into the belief that I have to do everything myself, while in other areas where I don’t feel as confident in my abilities, the opposite is true, that I can’t do anything on my own.

Which of these beliefs are still a struggle for you?
