Under construction

Things are coming along, I’ve obviously imported all of the old Blogger entries, I’ve moved all of the Essays over, I’ve created a page for “recommended reading” that I will start to build a list of good books dealing with abuse and depression, and I’ll start building a list of online resources as well.

Those of you who have followed me over from the other site already know that on that reading page, if you use those links to make some amazon purchases, I’ll donate half of my proceeds to Prevent Child Abuse. (The other half will go toward paying hosting and registration fees for both of my sites.)

Anyway, if you have any book suggestions, or online resource suggestions, or even suggestions for the blogroll over on the side, let me know! I’m open to any and all suggestions!

But neither one of these is real healing. Real healing, like real emotions, and real people, are messier than that.

It’s still worth it though, as are a lot of those messy emotions and people too. If you let yourself get out of the black and white thinking, you just might see that too.

You know the old saying “I wish that I knew what I know now, when I was younger”, or some variation of it? I just heard that line in a song and thought, wow isn’t THAT true! I realize that there’s no way for that to happen but I do wish, for all of the…
