If you’re in DC,
You might want to think about participating in some way in the National Race to Stop the Silence on April 17, to help raise money and awareness to stop child sexual abuse.

I got an email last week from Robert Eggleton, about a novel he has written, Rarity from the Hollow: [quote]Lacy Dawn, the protagonist, is a victim of child abuse from an impoverished hollow of a rural state who overcomes by empowering others and ends up saving the universe. She is a composite character based on…
This story about the newly released documents from the New Jersey Child Welfare system are very sad. I know children service administrations try to do the best they can but, obviously, they need to do better. Chris you’re closer to DC than I am, I’m about 8-9 hours away so I don’t have any plans on participating, but I might be able help sponser someone who is going to be there if you know of anyone!
Will you be participating? I’m not too far from DC (about a 5 hour drive), and I’d like to do something. Maybe we as a blogging community can contribute somehow. Interested?
