Boy Scouts of America’s CSA Files Partially Analysed by LA Times

Last weekend, the Los Angeles Times reported on information which came to light after more revelations emerged from the BSA’s files. These documents recorded abusive or potentially abusive adults applying to be Scout leaders or working within the organisation. Whilst the article concentrated on a 21 year period, the complete pile of paperwork covers almost 80 years. It’s a massive Sunday feature from the Times, with extra links embedded.

The main article link is here. There’s also two more embedded links and the comments as you scroll down. The piece certainly marks the start of one more sacred cow getting slaughtered, with signs of a bigger cover-up than Penn State due to the age of the organisation.

The Toy Soldier Blog has already given their reaction as well, here.
