Savile-Founded Charities To Close Down
On the same day new BBC Director General answered questions in front of a Parliamentary Select Committee, the Jimmy Savile Charitable Trust and the Jimmy Savile Stoke Mandeville Hospital Trust both decided to close down rather than just changing their names. Their funds will be distributed anonymously to other charities. That story is here at the BBC.
