Historical CSA Victim Confirms Mistaken Identity Of Named Politician Who Plans to Sue BBC

Stephen Meesham repeated his 1990s abuse allegations earlier this week and in the wake of the subsequent internet gossip, the wrong senior Conservative politician was identified – again. The confusion wasn’t resolved by Channel 4 news filing a report on Thursday 8th November stating they had been shown a compiled list including a Tory politician that, like Newsnight, they did not name either. The wrong politician decided today to publicly deny the allegations and Mr Meesham confirmed the mistaken identity and apologised. The politician is also taking legal action starting with the BBC. That was the daytime story on Friday 9th November.

By the evening, the BBC had also apologised separately and suspended all investigative journalism activities of Newsnight, the show which originally took criticism for dropping its initial investigation into Jimmy Savile. The BBC has the story here, The Guardian here and check Google news for the rest of the media reaction.

I have got this far with my blog on G+ and other sites that are part of Google apparently Alex Salmond our first minister for Scotland never replies personally to a communication concerning historical clerical child sex abuse, especially if the author is a survivor. As you can see this is no longer true as that attitude and approach towards survivors of child and adult sex abuse and the related sex industries and illegal human drug trials has now clearly been destroyed.

Now we must keep up the momentum and proceed with more Direct (In Your Face) Action.

  2. I have been successful in bringing a direct response from
the most senior Politician in Scotland who prior to now never replied directly
to a child abuse victim of no consequence. He has always been aware of the
Historical child sex abuse that was committed in care institutions. I told his
secretary firstly and him of these abuses and more in 1981, shortly after I
    left childcare.

Flushed with this victory I would like to continue with this
Activism for me and all other victims of child and adult sex abuse and illegal
human drug trials. However, although it will continue I would like some help in
setting up a group specifically for this and receive funding for it. I have a
disability which limits me but I need only two other people to set up a charity
for this purpose and to date I have not found anyone brave enough to assist.
Could you help me find people to help who are like me and determined to get
full exposure and justice for all survivors?

Here is my reply to one of your posts on the issue.
