Some of the best journalism of past weekend on the English and Welsh child abuse scandals ofthe past 40 years came from the Independent on Sunday. In addition to its own retrospective on the North Wales Jillings report (here in case the link didn’t appear in the previous story) they also profiled a family of four brothers caught up in the Welsh situation. That report is here and has other historical articles in its own story crawl in the centre of the page.
An opinion piece from the same newspaper was reprinted in one of the Independent stable’s offshoots, the “i” edited highlights daily paper on Monday 12th November. That piece by Owen Jones is here.
