Annual BBC Children In Need Telethon Loses Veteran Presenter Wogan
Terry Wogan will miss the annual Children In Need Telethon which he has co-presented since the beginning of the modern TV appeal in 1980 due to surgery. We don’t know if he has set a record at 35 years but the man deserves a year off even if it’s in unfortunate circumstances and we hope Terry gets well soon. Being a live BBC TV juggernaut, the show will go on and we will have to wait and see whether the fundraising record will be broken once again as happened in 2014.
