First off, asking is not going to make someone who isn’t suddenly feel like maybe they want to be. That being said, there are better ways than others to be supportive and express concern about someone you care about. As I read through the suggestions I kept thinking about reaching out in a way that connects to them, creating a connection to something that maybe wasn’t there before.
