Bipolar Beat Blog

Over at Psych Central they’ve launched a new blog, devoted to Bipolar disorder. I don’t suffer from bipolar disorder myself, but I know many of you do, and a quick look at the new site gives me the impression that it’s going to be quite good. I’m sure it’ll be just as informative and educational as the current one over on the Psych Central site. I’d definitely recommend stopping by, or subscribing to Bipolar Beat.

Also, keep an eye on the Psych Central blog as they have other plans:

Don’t have bipolar? We plan on launching additional topical blogs in the weeks to come, including blogs on depression and ADHD.

I was looking through some of the tech blogs I normally read, when I discovered something that touched that part of me that struggles with depression and self-esteem issues. It was this post on “Just Another Geek’s Blog that touched me: “When the realization hit that I was ‘happy with myself’ for that one moment…

  1. Thanks for the exciting info about the bipolar beat blog. Unfortunately, I have been trying ever since I read your post on Friday morning to get to it and I continue to receive an error message. I have tried using both Safari and Firefox so maybe they are having a problem with the new site?

I will keep trying though because it looks like it should be a great resource.

  2. Tamara, I was just now able to get there, can’t confirm whether there was a problem earlier with their site or not, wasn’t around a computer when you left the comment. hope you find it useful!
