Polanski: The Genius And The Girl
Roman Polanski has been arrested in Switzerland in relation to the child abuse charges to which he pleaded guilty over 30 years ago, when he slept with a 13-year-old. Since 1977 the director lived and worked outside America to avoid arrest.
It’s an unfolding story and we will have to see whether the charges are dismissed or minimised owing to the time involved.
