Link – Online course focuses on child sex abuse prevention

I thought this might be of interest to some of you.

“A Ronkonkoma-based nonprofit on Monday announced that the group has launched a free online course that seeks to teach adults how to detect, report and, hopefully, prevent child sexual abuse.”

As stated in the article, you do have to register with them, providing name, home and email addresses, but it is a free resource available to anyone online.

Not stated in the article, the link where you can actually find the online classroom (Come on Newsday!) – http://classroom.parentsformeganslaw.org/course/apple/

Seeing as how I’m not a parent, nor do I work with children, I’m probably not going to make taking this online class a huge priority right now, but if you do sign up, let us know your thoughts!
