As she puts it, there’s a shortage of therapists in general, a shortage of therapists that take insurance, and a shortage of therapists with specialized training. Human sex trafficking is a multi-billion dollar industry in the United States according the Department of Justice, and it’s happening right here on the First Coast. Some of the victims are young children forced to have sex dozens of times a day.
