FBI Sting At Super Bowl Rescues 16

Much was made online about how the Super Bowl, being a large event, would attract sex trafficking. Well, it appears that the FBI knew this and was able to run a sting targeting sex trafficking. It also appears that the sting was able to locate 16 missing children who were being trafficked.

This serves as a good reminder that for all the hand-wringing about sex trafficking at the Super Bowl, having an event that attracts that sort of behavior, in this case just by being a large event, is a double edged sword. Yes, it brings sex trafficking to the event location, but by bringing it out, it can also serve as a way to catch the perpetrators who normally hide away from the public eye.
