Link – Disconnection in Depression: Signs and Tips to Reconnect

This is an interesting topic to me. One of the things I keep an eye out for on a regular basis is when I feel disconnected, knowing that it’s a sign that I may be headed for depression if I don’t take the steps that I have learned over the years help me avoid that. When I don’t know what’s going on with myself, I disconnect from other people due to stress or frustration. After all, if I don’t know what’s going on with me, the last thing I want to do is talk to other people.

That unwillingness to interact is often a sign that I should be practicing some self-care, identifying the causes of stress, and doing something about it.

Do you disconnect from others when things are tough? Do they know enough to connect with you anyway?
