In 2018 we are still dealing with this?
“Vulnerable boys who have been sexually exploited are missing out on help because professionals do not recognise them as victims, a charity has said.”
It makes me want to scream, shout, bang a wall, etc. Clearly the message is not getting out that boys are sexually abused too, and I’m at a loss to explain why people who work with abuse survivors would not understand this.
We still have much work to do. Please share this and let people know that sexual abuse does not discriminate.
