Sharing – Making Mental and Physical Health Discussions Equally Important

I suspect for many parents, the reason they haven’t really had any conversation about mental health issues comes down to this:

This can be one of the most difficult things to do and one of the primary reasons that schools and parents will wait until tomorrow what should be discussed today.

Let’s face it, as the rest of the article points out, no one really wants to talk about mental health issues, no one who has them necessarily wants to sit and talk to anyone and everyone about them, and for people who don’t the entire subject is fraught with stigma and discomfort.

But we have to talk about it. It’s not something that isn’t happening to anyone we know. There’s no way, as the graphic shared in the article below shows
