The United States of Tara is a new show on Showtime about a women with DID. Most of what I’ve read about the show has been pretty positive in terms of the producers wanting to have a realistic portrayal of a woman with alters, including this Psych Central article.
Alas, I don’t have Showtime so I can’t really tell you whether the show is any good, so if any of you get a chance to see it, I’d love to hear your opinion!
Over the weekend I listened to this episode of the Happiness Lab podcast and I wanted to share it because I think Dr. Santos and her guests hit on some pretty interesting topics. Specifically, I felt like this was some more scientific evidence for how small actions, like compliments, can create a connection between people and make both the giver and the receiver, happier.
As I read items from my newsreader this weekend, I saw a reference to streaming service Zeam partnering with the Mental Health Television Network. This got my attention because I had no idea that MHTN existed until this weekend, and I feel like I should have.
