Welsh Care Home CSA Survivor Expanded Interview
Stephen Meesham survived years of abuse in children’s care homes in Wales and already testified to these events before. What the public didn’t know at the time was that Meesham and other witnesses to the first set of public enquiries were censored and not allowed to discuss any acts of abuse that took place off-site…
The Positive Impacts of Social Media
This is the world we live in. Not one where teens would be fine if only they didn’t have social media, but one where teens take to social media to get information about mental health and other issues that they can’t talk to anyone else about. Getting rid of social media for minors will leave a void similar to the one I had growing up, where no one I knew talked about abuse or mental health issues, so I assumed I was the only one dealing with it.

Historical Religious Paedophile Jailed
We’re used to hearing about child abuse in the Catholic Church and the responses from officials which sought to bury it. It’s a refreshing contrast to find that when a Scottish Jehovah’s Witness offended against a child 14 years ago, the victim’s disclosure was met with support and the elders encouraged the perpetrator to confess,…
Sharing – How my Facebook post about suicide uncovered so much hidden male pain and suffering
I have managed to be somewhat successful by society’s standard. I am also a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. To assume that must mean I wasn’t that hurt by it, is to tell me that you know nothing of my life, or the lives of thousands of other men like me. Is it any wonder so many don’t come forward and talk about it?
But, as the article below points out, there are too many men in pain, with nowhere to go, for us to not talk about it. They deserve better.
