If you’re in the UK you can catch an episode of Louis Theroux LA Stories titled “Among the Sex Offenders”.
Documentary. Louis Theroux spends time in the twilight world of Los Angeles’ paroled sex offenders, who live under force of tough regulations
As a non UK resident I cannot watch it but if you happen to catch it we’d love to hear your opinions on it. It’ll only be available online for a couple of days if you’re interested.
Speaking, again, for myself, when I get frustrated with world events, work, or whatever might be irritating me beyond belief at the moment, a good bit of loud music can help me express that and just get it out of my system so that I can then continue on with my life. I find myself getting more and more irritable if I haven’t found a way to express the frustration that I may be feeling at any particular time until it eventually shows up in maybe ways I would rather it doesn’t. So, when I find myself getting more and more frustrated, out come the headphones, and a little punk rock, until I feel better.

Sometimes, it isn’t. Mental Health is much more complicated. There is no simple explanation for why it happens, and there’s no simple explanation for why it’s been getting worse. Beware those who want to paint all mental health issues with the same brush. Human beings are a bit more complicated than that.
Really, there are two things you can do to fight falling for misinformation. You could try to never be angry, but I don’t think that’s realistic. There are things to be angry about, rightfully. We can’t go through live just not feeling anything.
The thing I think we can do, and the thing I work hard at myself, is staying humble. Never assume you “know” everything, that you never make mistakes, that there is nothing more for you to learn. That’s how you fight misinformation, and it’s also really helpful when it comes to fighting negative thoughts, depression, anxiety, etc.
Put it this way, I have not put the usual spoiler warning on this episode. That’s not just because it’s the last season to American viewers and we’ve only just watched it this week in the UK. Any charming family scene in a show like CSI/Miami only serves to make the episode predictable. It’s not…
