Reading – Bonded to the Abuser: How Victims Make Sense of Childhood Abuse

Great book review by Amy and Mel! The review itself makes for some interesting reading about how survivors are bonded to their abuser, and how it can be important to understand that the abuser is doing things because of their own problems, not because the child is deserving.
Have you read this book? What did you think of it?

I think I might like to read this. Where can I get a second hand copy, please?
Sally, I really do not know. You might check with a local bookstore or library on the off chance they have it, or keep an eye on Amazon to see if there are any available for resale. I don’t believe this has been a huge seller so it may be hard to find outside of ordering it new.
Thanks. It is around $50 to buy. I can’t afford that much.
