Link – New campaign asks everyone to look out for signs of child abuse
“A CAMPAIGN to encourage people to report child abuse is being rolled out in North Devon.
The campaign, supported by Devon County Council, aims to tackle the problem of child abuse going unreported.
A third of people who suspect child abuse do nothing to report it, according to the Department for Education.
The main message of the campaign is you don’t have to be absolutely certain about your suspicions before reporting them.”
This is true everywhere, not just North Devon.

this wont happen.. at least in my part of the world.. where nobody reports even when they are sure.. because the majority doesnt suffer abuse.. so they dont have to care..
That’s unfortunate, and sad that so many don’t seem to care, everywhere.
Remember, children are seldom believed when they try to tell of sexual abuse (if they can even find the words), nor are the adults when they finally begin to voice their memories – decades later. The perpetrators are pitied because they might now be old and feeble, but people forget they were once vibrant, young, and very dangerous.
i should add.. even if someone reports, the police and law enforcement or whoever else, wont believe because they are the majority who certainly prefers to think of the world as a wonderful place
