Sharing – 4 Books on Mental Health Written by People of Color

I am, obviously, not a Person of Color, but I recognize that this quote is true, and want to share these kinds of resources as a way to help where I can.

Due to the discrimination they face in the United States, many members of the BIPOC community have struggled with their mental health. Studies have shown that people of color living in America have more mental health issues than white people overall. This is likely coorelated with the fact they are forced to live in fear of their emotional and physical safety. July is BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month, so here are five novels on mental health written by authors of color.
