Sharing – Starting the conversation

Are you concerned about someone you know? Do you want to ask, but don’t know how? The link below has some suggestions for you, but maybe this is the one thing I want you to remember:

You don’t need perfect words. You don’t need to be an expert. Often, just noticing someone and letting them know you care can make a huge difference.

It can take courage to ask someone how they’re really doing. But the good part is, sometimes you just need to listen – without judgement. Those small moments and acts of kindness can be hugely powerful.

How often do we wait until we have the answers, or jump into problem-solving mode when someone admits to struggling, when all they need is to know you care? In my opinion, we’d do each other a huge favor if instead of trying to learn how to solve someone’s struggles, we spent more time learning how to care for one another.

People can do amazing things when they know someone cares.
