Trying to Escape an Abusive Situation, Don’t Forget About Your Tech

I posted this to my tech blog the other day and wanted to make sure that survivors were aware of it as well. If you are trying to escape from an abusive situation, be it domestic violence and otherwise, don’t trust any technology that the person you are trying to escape from had access to. It’s pretty easy for them to have set it up to track or snoop on you.

And if you have someone in your life who feels the need to use this technology to always keep tabs on you? I don’t want to get in the habit of offering relationship advice, but I have to wonder about how healthy that is.
