Link – Depression Songs to Cheer You Up on Hard Days

None of the songs on the list were ones I listened to when I needed some motivation, but were they yours?

For me, being kind of a punk/alternative fan, it was much more about songs like Sometimes by Midnight Oil, or The Clash’s I’m Not Down.

What would you add?

So, someone like me, a middle-aged, professional, white male, can talk about struggling and get encouragement, pointed to good resources that are affordable for me, and there’s hope that I’ll get better. That’s not right. Everyone deserves quality mental health care. We shouldn’t divide who gets the care and who doesn’t based on what kind of mental health issue they have or who they are. That’s no way to solve this issue.
