Sharing – Taking Control of Your Mental Health: Tips for Talking With Your Health Care Provider

For many of us in the US healthcare system, this is a common issue. We need to start our search for help for a mental health issue with our primary care physician. That conversation can be difficult, because we don’t normally talk to them about mental health concerns, and they may not be an expert on our particular issue. Still, it’s a conversation that needs to happen so that they can refer is to someone who can help, and these tips can help.
