English Comedian “Willing To Talk To Police” about CSA Allegations

Freddy Starr, the English comedian whose name was caught up in the Jimmy Savile case without any formal charges being brought by police, presented himself to police to answer questions regarding parallel accusations of indecent assault against one of the women re-interviewed about abuse by Jimmy Savile. He claims his lawyer was told that the officers do not wish to speak to him. The police have not commented on the statement at this early stage of their own enquiry and the two others independently commissioned by the BBC itself. The direct link to that story is here.
